What to Do in Atlantic City this Fall
Atlantic City has reigned as one of the top summer destinations in the nation, but guests still have plenty to look forward to once the weather cools down. When you’re in the mood for seaside fun this autumn, there are plenty of things to do in North Beach Atlantic City. From classic gambling excursions and live performances to luxury beachfront dining, you won’t be able to see it all in one weekend. Explore the best things to do in Atlantic City this fall below…
Visit the state’s tallest lighthouse right in Atlantic City. The chilly fall weather will add to the charm–just make sure to dress for cooler temperatures. Located at the intersection between Pacific and Rhode Island Avenue, the lighthouse dates back to 1857. Visitors can ascend up 228 steps to the top to see the lighthouse’s original Fresnel lens as well as incredible views of the surrounding area. Other attractions on-site include a 21-bed community garden, the lighthouse keeper’s quarters, and a fascinating museum exhibit.
The fun doesn’t stop when summer ends. Originally built in 1898, the city’s oldest amusement park, Steel Pier, sits 1,000 feet into the ocean. Rebuilt in 1993, this iconic North Beach Atlantic City spot offers 21 amusement rides, games, and attractions, including the third largest observation wheel in the nation.
In between rides, families can munch on hot dogs, funnel cake, ice cream, and much more while listening to live music. Guests can also try their luck at throwing axes at the AC Axe and Pub Friday through Sunday. Don’t miss out on the city’s oldest theme park near the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.
Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall
Visitors can enjoy over 40 craft beers on tap and a myriad of wines, cocktails, and food items at this renowned gastropub. Dine indoors, or head out to their spacious outdoor Beer Yard to sit by the fire pit. This destination is perfect for Oktober celebrations!
Bar 32 Chocolate & Cocktails
When you’re on the hunt for post-dinner cocktails, curated playlists, and hand-made desserts, head to Bar 32 Chocolate. Imported from Tanzania and made in-house, their chocolate bar infusions are sourced with high-quality ingredients such as Maldon Sea Salt, Marcona Almonds, Luxardo Cherries, and more. Moreover, their mixologists can suggest the perfect cocktail and wine pairings that complement your choice of dessert.
Bar 32 also provides all of the fixings for an at-home experience, including hot chocolate tins, double chocolate brownie mix, cookie batter, scented dark chocolate candles, and of course our small-batch chocolate bars.
